How does Vink Chemicals support the work-life balance?
We attach great importance to the work-life balance of our employees and therefore introduced flexible flexitime models with family-friendly core working hours at our German sites several years ago. Our electronic time recording system with an integrated overtime and undertime account provides a transparent overview and makes it possible to reduce overtime by taking time off in lieu.
What role does sustainability play at Vink Chemicals?
Sustainability plays a central role at Vink Chemicals. We have proactively produced our first sustainability report to create transparency about our efforts and achievements in this area. Many of our products help to conserve resources by extending shelf life and application efficiency. We also attach great importance to education and support our customers in the proper use of our products.
Our production sites are designed for energy-efficient measures: At the Kakenstorf site, for example, we use a heat pump that contributes to sustainable energy use. Our new production site in Schwerin is being planned and built according to the latest energy efficiency standards in order to make the best possible contribution to environmental protection there too.
Are there special incentives to promote employee health?
Vink Chemicals offers a wide range of opportunities to promote health and well-being as part of the Corporate Benefit Program. Our employees have access to various sports activities and can take advantage of the JobRad program. In addition, we regularly organize activities such as the “Moving Break”, which specifically contribute to relaxation and activation in everyday working life. We also cooperate with company doctors at our locations and offer medical check-ups in addition to the mandatory examinations, including special examinations for VDU workstations.
