Vink Chemicals has developed a range of additives under the Vinkotech® brand that are used in crop protection products. Thanks to treatment with Vinkotech®, crop protection products for use in agriculture retain their effectiveness over a longer period and therefore have a longer overall shelf life and storage life.
Four products from the Vinkotech® line are available as additives for agrochemicals; they themselves have no herbicidal effect:
- Vinkotech® BIT 10 is an aqueous solution of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one and is ideal for use in aqueous and water-miscible systems.
- Vinkotech® BIT 20 G is a glycol solution of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one and is ideal for use in aqueous and water-miscible systems.
- Vinkotech® CMI 1.5 is an aqueous solution of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (CMIT) with 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (MIT) and is ideal for use in aqueous and water-miscible systems.
- Vinkotech® PSG, is an aqueous solution of sodium benzoate and potassium (E,E)-hexa-2,4-dienoate (potassium sorbate) and is ideal for use in aqueous and water-miscible systems.
The four solutions from the Vinkotech® family of agrochemicals fall under the category ‘co-formulants’ according to Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 and are therefore subject to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 on REACH.
