We safeguard our customers products and assets in upstream to downstream applications.
We offer new and innovative chemical products that are based on modern basic research and meet today's strict environmental, technical and quality requirements.
With decades of experience in combating microbial contamination, Vink Chemicals can offer various biocides that have been specially developed to counteract the broad spectrum of microbial contamination and its consequences in fuels, as a fuel additive component.
Microbes have successfully adapted to hostile environments such as diesel fuel. Today many types of microorganisms can reproduce in both fossil fuels and biofuels and their mixtures. Especially biodiesel is a rich source of nutrients for microbes. In addition, they act as emulsifiers and distribute fine water droplets throughout the fuel - which increases microbial reproduction.
Further microbial risks for downstream systems:
In response to changing market requirements, Vink Chemicals offers an innovative, non-triazine based hydrogen sulfide scavenger that is intended to replace the established HHT solutions for refinery applications.
Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is a naturally occurring gas that is found in many oils around the world.
H2S precursors in the form of sulfur containing hydrocarbons can be found in specific process flows: through thermally induced breakdown, these precursors can form and release H2S, which must then be treated.
Especially at the high temperatures involved in the processing of crude oils in the refinery, it is very likely that they will face typical problems encountered when processing crude oils containing H2S, intermediates and refined products.
Further risks for plants that process substances containing H2S are:
Our oil/water soluble hydrogen sulfide scavenger is designed to combat and prevent the H2S problem in crude oils as well as intermediate and refined products as bitumen and heavy fraction of crude oil more effectively than other solutions on the market.
Vink Chemicals being the first chemical manufacture that brought surfactant based asphaltene inhibitors to oil and gas market enable us to offer customized solutions for asphaltene treatment.
Deposition of flocculated asphaltene can cause significant economic impact in refinery feedstock storage tanks and refinery operation. These organic depositions may cause flowline plugging during storage and transportation, flow restrictions, excessive sludge build up in the storage tanks, chocking of flowlines, failure of equipments and underdeposit corrosion. The behaviour of asphaltene deposition is complex and involve the disruption of resins and maltenes stabilizers (SARA analysis).
Refinery feedstocks can be made up of numerous crude blend qualities. Although individual crude batches may be stable in terms of asphaltene deposition blending different crudes in storage tanks or commingling crudes from different storage tanks in the pre-heat train of the desalter may lead to asphaltene destabilization, deposition, heat exchanger fouling and severe desalter upsets. Asphaltene destabilization may also ocur in heavy or residual oils.
Vink Chemicals offers asphaltene dispersing and inhibiting solutions that stabilize and slow down asphaltene deposit formation, as well as effectively dissolve existing asphaltene deposits during cleaning application.
